Hailing from the Okanagan Valley, Psychotect are a progressive post-doom trio unleashing an alchemical blend of unmistakable origin. Threading elements of dark and heavy music through the eye of a psychedelic lends, they tap into deeper and more cerebral territory with each successive leap.

Psychotect released their eponymous EP in early 2022 and began playing shows throughout the interior with many notable BC acts including Highland Eyeway, SSIK, Pharm, Mothersun and many more. The following year saw the departure of guitarist and vocalist Matt Lazare due to creative differences. Terrence Lust(Bass) and Vincent Gray(Drums) elected to continue as an instrumental duo and played a new string of shows with artists including The Jins, Pyramid Theorem, Osyron and Death Preacher.

Lazare made his return to the band in late 2023, joining the band for yet another run of local shows. Psychotect continues to solidify their reputation as an Okanagan mainstay with new releases and exciting plans on the horizon.
